Description
The big banana tree out front is the landmark. Inside, bookshelves, a fireplace, an enormous globe, and pendant lights of all different designs come together; the courtyard has a stone garden, banana trees, and walls in Mexican hues. For all its jumble of things, it makes for a comfortable, welcoming space. In winter a fire burns in the hearth. The photo shows the French toast.
