Description
A cafe in front of the clock tower at Kyoto University. It's essentially a slightly upscale student cafeteria, but they take your order at the table and outsiders can drop in without any awkwardness. Being a co-op, lunch sets come in under 600 yen. There's a terrace where you can even have a beer, making it a great spot from spring through autumn. You can also try the Soncho Curry (President's Curry), which has become a famous Kyoto University souvenir.
