Description

A cafe set in a renovated Showa-era building. While the original branch near Shijo occupies a converted machiya townhouse, this one is a remodeled Showa building. The bare exposed-concrete walls feel a little stark, but the second floor has an assortment of sofas and big windows where you can relax. Lunch isn't the sort of meal that fills you up, but the cakes are quite well made. The location is inconvenient, but there's a parking lot right out front.
