Description
Head temple of the Chisan school of Shingon Buddhism.
The pond-strolling garden on the east side of the Great Study Hall features a pond, artificial hills, and a dry waterfall in the karesansui style. Azaleas and satsuki bloom in late May. The treasure hall exhibits fusuma paintings by Hasegawa Tohaku and others.
